Glues Used in the flooring industry.

Introduction

The use of correct glues in flooring applications cannot be overstated. For both manufacture and in installation, the use of incorrect or poor-quality glues can result in failure, angst and unnecessary expense.

Glue Down Flooring

As a manufacturer and supplier of flooring, we are not involved in installation. However, we recommend that you check with your installer that high-quality glue suited to your application is used.

While we do not endorse any particular supplier, but companies like Bostik and Henkel are widely used in the industry.

Surface preparation is also the responsibility of the installer, this entails checking that the surface is structurally sound, flat (within ecceptable tolerances) and dry.

Plywood Sourcing:
